We took one of the last opportunities to visit Sunrise before it closes for the winter. We had never made it to Sunrise in all our trips to Mount Rainier. It was a blustery day up there but we hiked for a while anyway. We were treated to the sight of five mountain goats on the opposite ridges. You had to use the binoculars to see them but Gabby could see them.
