Playing Pitcher

She poses when she sees me taking pics. I'm going to have to put a stop to that.
Finally Sam gets to run the bases!

Gabby's first coach pitch game was last Sat. She had only been to one practice since we were on vacation but she did great. She got a hit at 2 of her 3 at bats and fielded a couple of balls as pitcher.

BTW, I am having trouble uploading multiple pics to Blogger these days. Anyone else? I have tried for over a week on both my new Mac and the PC and no luck. I do not have time to upload one by one!

Home Depot

We love Home Depot projects around here. Sam has started doing his own projects instead of just helping Gabby do hers. Gabby has gotten very good at them and doesn't need much help any more. This was April's butterfly house project.

Build A Bear

Gabby and her winter Daisy patches

Gabby's Daisy Troop had a Build A Bear party with some of their Girl Scout Cookie money. They got their patches they have earned since January and then got to make a bear. Sam made a puppy for being a good Daisy little brother. Sam named his puppy Sammy. Gabby named her bear Rainbow.

Growing Up

Easter Bunny

We went to see the Easter Bunny Thursday night. Neither kid had anything to ask for but they were happy to see him anyway. Happy for the ice cream they got afterward, too.

Sammy's Big Boy Bed

About a month ago I set out to take the side off of Sam's crib. Since we have moved three times since Gabby used the crib as a toddler bed, I could not find the hardware needed for the new side. It got put off till Robert got home. He couldn't find it either. We went to Home Depot and bought some new screws, came home, took the bed apart and they didn't fit. The first night he slept precariously in the bed with no screws holding the side up. Thankfully it wasn't a problem. We exchanged the screws the next day and now it's together properly. So far he's done great. He still stays in his bed when he wakes up and calls for us to come get him. Once he discovers he can get out, we're toast.

14th Anniversary

Our 14th Anniversary was on the 30th. Here we are 14 years ago getting married at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Jackson, Tennessee. The pic of us coming back up the aisle has always been my favorite, even if it is not the conventional wedding shot.
