Thank NFL Commissioner for action against Vick

It goes without saying to those who know us that we think Vick is a punk who won't get close to what he deserves for the things he has done. However, the ASPCA offers a chance to thank Goodell and those who have prosecuted Vick for their action. Please let Goodell know that Vick won't be welcome back in the NFL. There are much better players that we can watch.

Happy Elvis Day!

Well, it was yesterday and I kept meaning to post it but Sam literally ate for 10 hours straight and I never got to it. We did watch a bit of an Elvis movie and Sam and Gabby both liked it when I sang "I'm just a hunka hunka burnin' love" to them. By the end of the day I had Gabby singing it to Sam. But a former Memphis gal can't let Elvis day go past without mentioning it!

Fun with the Family

For those of you who may have been concerned about Gabby leaving Sam off her last picture, here is a picture she drew on her chalkboard. It's Mommy taking Gabby to Vacation Bible School and that's Sam asleep in the carrier that Mommy is carrying. This one made my day!

There is also a pic of Daddy holding his crying babies. Gabby fell and hurt her arm, which made her cry. Her crying made Sam cry. So what did Mommy do? Hand them both to Daddy and take a picture, of course!
So Sam is 3 1/2 months old and already has control of the remote control! Just kidding! Daddy did that - all Mommy did was take the pictures.
And the last pic of the Gabby down at the dock. We went for seafood last night and then walked down to see the shrimp boats. She liked walking on the board and looking at the water.
In other family news, dance lessons started this week. Choir starts next week and school is on the horizon. Another summer almost over....

Gabby's Artwork

Gabby's artwork is getting more realistic. The first picture is a painting she did of herself. The first time she has painted a person. The second is a card she made for our child sponsored through Compassion International. It is a picture of Mommy, Daddy, Gabby and Jordan (the big brown spot). No Samuel but the card was small! The blue at the top is the sky. The brown are stars. The red is the moon rising and the green is the sun setting. Those are flowers and grass at the bottom.

Rolling over

We're running out to pick up Gabby but just wanted to say that Sam rolled over this morning. From back to front. So far he's done it twice.

Three months old

Believe it or not, Sam is three months old today! He is such a sweetie and loves to play. He has also moved out of the basinette into his crib and some nights is sleeping for twelve hours. He still thinks 10:30 is bedtime but we are working on moving that to an earlier time.
The bottom two pictures are from the aquarium from last Thursday. Mommy, Gabby and Sam went for the day. They had a new alligator statue that made everyone laugh. Gabby spent a long time just watching the turtles swim around.
