Swingset and the beach

Last weekend Gabby and Daddy put her new swingset up. Gabby loves helping Daddy build things! She has spent all week playing on her new "playground" and having a blast.

Gram arrived on Thursday and we took her to the beach today to see the ocean. Gabby was putting her toes in the cold water when she fell down and got soaked! Luckily we had a change of clothes-the water is still pretty cold.

The Circus

Gabby and Daddy went to the circus last night. I was afraid I would be too uncomfortable sitting there for two hours so I stayed home. They had a great time! According to Gabby, they got to ride an elephant that was also in the show. They saw the lady getting shot from the cannon and the family swinging from the ropes (trapeeze). They also saw the blue and pink ponies (actually, poodles) and the big ball with the motorcyles in it. Daddy made sure she was all sugared up from a snow cone, cotton candy (which she didn't like - is this my kid??) and a funnel cake.

Happy Easter!

We have had a good Easter. The bunny came to visit. Gabby's getting good at hunting eggs. We went to church and Sunday School and then to eat lunch. We spent the afternoon resting and playing. Someone brought a real bunny to church to show all the Sunday School classes. Gabby loves bunnies!

Egg Coloring and Hunting

We colored eggs on Friday afternoon. Gabby could really do all the dipping and taking them out this year and had a great time.

Saturday was egg hunting day. We started out with a hunt at our church in the morning. They also heard about the Easter story and decorated a cross with flowers and did a craft before turning out to find eggs. Then we hunted eggs again in our neighborhood in the afternoon. She played on the playground and had fun with the games they had set up. (Yes, it was chilly here as in most places.)

Robert even got in the spirit a little bit....

Easter Bunny

Here's Gabby and the Easter Bunny this past Monday. She walked right up and hopped up in his lap. Didn't want to talk to him too much but didn't mind smiling and sitting there. Loves a bit of attention....

Flowers in Bloom

Everything is blooming here - azaleas, wisteria, dogwoods, bradford pears, tulips, etc.

Robert's parents were here last weekend and we went to some of the gardens around. We also took a stroll on the beach one evening. Here are some of the pictures.

Another ultrasound

This is the baby's profile at 33 weeks. This was last week - Mar 14. He/she was moving the mouth all around and smacking when we were peeking. It's getting tighter in there so harder to get good shots. Weight: 4.3 pounds. Gabby was about 5 pounds at 35 weeks for reference and was just at 6 pounds when born at 40 weeks.
